Hi, I’m Marc — but I’ll respond if you call me “Squire”. By day, I’m a software engineer for Major League Baseball Advanced Media. By night, I invest my time in various side projects: videography, consulting, and web design to name a few. With a passion for technology, I graduated from the School of Information Studies at Syracuse University in 2011 and currently work in New York City. While in school, I took pictures for Getty Images and my photos have appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today, espn.com, and in ESPN Magazine. I love experimenting and self-teaching – I’m definitely always up for a challenge.
In April 2015, along with my 2 co-founders, I launched an e-commerce marketplace for small batch and handcrafted foods called Leema (Let Everyone Eat My Art). I designed and developed the front-end of the application (and have dabbled in the backend layers) and have also been involved in business/product development and recruiting new vendors to sell on our site. I have since exited the company but I certainly learned a lot along the way. You can check it out at www.leemaeats.com or read more about my role(s) here.
When I’m not working, you can find me in a boxing class, hanging out with friends, watching a Redskins game (and praying they win), or with a glass of whiskey in my hand.
